A leading global law firm is seeking junior associates to join its Debt Finance practice in San Francisco. The team represents lenders, borrowers, and private equity sponsors in a wide range of debt financing transactions, and offers significant responsibility and client exposure at an early career stage.

The role involves working on secured lending matters, closing transactions, and drafting documents and issues lists. Associates collaborate across offices and practice groups on complex, multi-party deals, with strong support for professional development.

Candidates should demonstrate high academic achievement and prior training at a large law firm, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and a strong attention to detail.

1–3 years of experience representing lenders, borrowers, and/or private equity sponsors in debt financing transactions
Working knowledge of secured lending transactions
Experience closing transactions and familiarity with drafting documents and issues lists
Preferred: knowledge of Article 9 of the UCC, acquisition financing (including commitment letters), and debt securities offerings (including high yield and/or convertible notes)
JD or equivalent from a nationally recognized law school with demonstrated high academic achievement
Training and development experience at a large law firm
Ability to work on multiple diverse projects simultaneously with strong attention to detail
