Seeking a 1st–3rd year associate to join a busy debt finance practice in New York. The role involves representing lenders, borrowers and private equity sponsors on a variety of financing transactions, with regular exposure to secured lending and leveraged financings.

Ideal candidates will have transactional experience closing financings, drafting documents and preparing issues lists, and familiarity with UCC Article 9, acquisition financing and debt securities offerings. The team offers formal benefits and development resources.

1–3 years of relevant transactional experience in debt finance (lender, borrower and/or private equity sponsor-side)
Juris Doctor (or equivalent) and strong academic record from a nationally recognized law school
Experience with secured lending, closing transactions, drafting documents and preparing issues lists; familiarity with UCC Article 9, acquisition financing and debt securities offerings preferred
Training or experience at a large law firm, ability to manage multiple matters, and strong attention to detail
