A leading global law firm seeks a junior debt finance associate to join its Finance & Banking practice in Palo Alto. The role involves representing lenders, borrowers and private equity sponsors in a broad range of debt financing transactions.

The successful candidate will work on secured lending matters, transaction closings, and the drafting of documents and issues lists. The practice offers exposure to acquisition financing, debt securities offerings and general corporate finance work.

1–3 years of experience representing lenders, borrowers and/or private equity sponsors in debt financing transactions
Working knowledge of secured lending transactions
Experience with closing transactions and drafting documents and issues lists
Familiarity with Article 9 of the UCC, acquisition financing, debt securities offerings and general corporate law preferred
JD or equivalent and strong academic credentials from a nationally recognized law school
Training and development experience at a large law firm
Ability to manage multiple diverse projects simultaneously with strong attention to detail
