Seeking a 1st–3rd year associate to join a busy Debt Finance practice in New York. The role focuses on representing lenders, borrowers and private equity sponsors on domestic and cross-border debt financing transactions.

Day-to-day work includes drafting and negotiating credit agreements and security documents, preparing issues lists and closing deliverables, and supporting deal execution across secured lending, acquisition financings and related debt instruments.

The team offers structured training, high-quality deal exposure and collaboration with senior finance lawyers on complex transactions.

1–3 years of transactional experience in debt finance (lender, borrower and/or sponsor-side)
J.D. (or equivalent) and strong academic credentials
Practical experience with secured lending, closing mechanics and document drafting; familiarity with Article 9 and acquisition financing preferred
Ability to manage multiple matters, strong attention to detail and excellent drafting/communication skills
