Join a market-leading Emerging Companies & Venture Capital (ECVC) practice in San Francisco, advising high-growth private technology and life sciences companies and the investors who back them. You will take a lead role on transactions and work directly with founders, CEOs, management teams, and boards at company-side clients, as well as with venture capital and other investor-side clients.

As part of a fast-moving ECVC team, you will build relationships with current and future leaders of the private technology and life sciences ecosystem. Your practice will span the full company lifecycle, from pre-seed through pre-IPO, covering SAFEs, preferred stock financings, corporate governance, and the full range of general corporate work. You will counsel management on matters as varied as formation and exits—often on the same day—and gain experience on both sides of the negotiating table through the group's representation of venture funds and institutional investors.

Clients in this practice represent a diverse range of disruptive industries, including artificial intelligence and machine learning, digital health and wellness, defense tech, life sciences, electronic gaming, and fintech, among others.

4–8 years of ECVC experience
Demonstrated interest in emerging growth industries
Experience leading transactions and advising founders, management teams, and boards
Familiarity with SAFEs, preferred stock financings, corporate governance, and general corporate work
Strong client-facing and relationship-building skills
