An internationally recognized corporate practice is seeking a mid-level associate to join its top-ranked Emerging Companies + Venture Capital group. The role offers end-to-end strategic counsel to high-growth startups and leading investors, from formation through exit, across some of the world's most dynamic innovation ecosystems.

The associate will work on high-value, high-profile matters at the forefront of the evolving ECVC landscape, alongside a collaborative and ambitious team known for practical, innovative client service. Multiple office locations are available.

4–6 years of significant emerging companies and venture capital experience in a premier corporate practice
Experience with start-ups and emerging growth companies, including seed and venture capital financings and public offerings
Venture financing experience using NVCA documents (required)
Some experience with domestic M&A transactions, particularly for startup companies and investors
Affinity for technology, life sciences, and/or CPG businesses
Proactive, entrepreneurial, and forward thinking, with strong business sense and sound legal judgment
Excellent written and oral communication skills and a commitment to outstanding client service
Admitted to the state bar in the relevant jurisdiction or eligible to waive in
