Emerging Companies & Venture Capital Associate — Seattle

Midlevel associate role in a national firm’s Emerging Companies & Venture Capital group based in Seattle. The team represents startups, growth-stage companies, venture funds and investors across formation, financings and M&A transactions.

Successful candidates will work closely with experienced practitioners on sophisticated venture-capital matters in a collaborative office environment. The role offers exposure to transactional work across the company lifecycle and to fund-related matters.

• 2+ years of transactional experience in emerging companies / venture capital at a law firm
• Strong academic credentials and references
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Comfortable with quantitative work and Excel; able to manage internal and external client/counsel relationships
