An established employment team is seeking an Associate Employment Lawyer with a mix of contentious and non-contentious experience to join its Leeds office. You will work across the full range of employment law and HR support matters for a diverse client base, from complex tribunal litigation and whistleblowing/business protection issues to major projects such as outsourcing and restructuring exercises.

Clients include major corporates and prominent national and international businesses, with a particular focus on financial services, retail and consumer, energy and transport sectors. From the outset you will be exposed to high-quality work and take a meaningful role in client matters, developing close relationships and contributing to the growth of the practice.

The role sits within a supportive and collegiate environment with hybrid working (a minimum of three days per week in the office) and occasional travel between UK offices. You will be encouraged to pursue continuous development through formal training, mentoring and coaching programmes, and to think creatively about how tools such as AI can enhance client service delivery.

Minimum of 3 years' post-qualification experience in a similar employment practice
Combination of contentious and non-contentious employment law experience
Flexible, agile and enthusiastic about developing knowledge and taking on intellectually challenging work
Strong eye for detail, self-motivated and proactive
Confident in building enduring client relationships based on trust and high-quality service
Inquisitive approach and genuine interest in understanding clients and their priorities
