Apply in confidence →Law firm energy practice is recruiting 3rd–7th year transactional associates to join its Energy & Climate Solutions team. The role focuses on project development and commercial work across renewable and conventional generation, including drafting and negotiating power purchase agreements, offtake arrangements, framework commercial agreements, joint venture documentation, and supporting project and portfolio acquisitions and financings.
The position involves regular client-facing work and coordination with partner-led teams and external counsel. The team is multi-office across the United States and is open to candidates in several major markets; remote or other office locations may be considered.
The firm advises a broad range of market participants on project development, project finance/securitization, corporate finance, and energy regulatory matters. The role offers competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package.
- 3–7 years of relevant transactional experience in energy or infrastructure (project development, project finance, or related commercial transactions)
- Proven experience drafting and negotiating PPAs, offtake agreements, commercial contracts, and joint venture documents
- Comfortable supporting acquisitions and financing work for project and portfolio transactions
- Strong written and oral communication, project management skills, and ability to work directly with clients
- J.D. and admission to practice in a U.S. jurisdiction (or pending admission)
