Mid-level associate role in a national energy & natural resources finance team based in Chicago. The team handles transactional finance matters including commercial lending, trade finance, securitizations, receivables and supplier financings, and other domestic and cross-border secured and unsecured financings.

The role involves drafting and negotiating large, syndicated financing documents, supervising junior associates and paralegals on matters, and working directly with clients across industries (commodities experience is a plus). The group seeks candidates who are collaborative, organized, and committed to professional development.

3–5 years post-qualification experience in finance/lending transactions
Extensive drafting experience on syndicated financing facilities
Experience managing junior associates and paralegals
Admission to the Illinois bar or reciprocity from another U.S. state
Strong academic record, excellent oral and written communication, and strong organizational/teamwork skills
