The role offers exposure to regulatory proceedings, transactional support, and client-focused counseling within a national energy practice.
Ideal candidates will have approximately two to three years of relevant experience (major firm experience preferred). Prior energy regulatory experience is a plus but not required; strong legal research, drafting, and oral advocacy skills are essential.
Virginia bar membership is preferred and must be obtained within one year of start. The role suits a motivated, collaborative lawyer who wants to build an energy regulatory practice.
- Approximately 2–3 years of transactional or regulatory experience, ideally from a major law firm
- Prior energy regulatory experience preferred; demonstrated interest in the energy sector acceptable
- Excellent oral and written communication, research, and drafting skills
- Virginia bar admission preferred; required within one year of commencing employment
