Apply in confidence →We are seeking an Executive Compensation associate to join a national transactional practice in Dallas. The role focuses on counseling clients on executive compensation and employee benefits matters arising in mergers, acquisitions and other business transactions.
The associate will work on structuring and drafting equity and cash incentive arrangements, separation and retention agreements, change-in-control provisions, and related plan documentation and disclosures. The position offers exposure to sophisticated transactional work within a collaborative team and opportunities for professional development.
- 2–6 years of post-qualification experience focused on executive compensation and employee benefits.
- Experience advising on executive compensation issues in M&A and other corporate transactions.
- Strong drafting and negotiation skills for agreements, plan documents and disclosure language.
- Juris Doctor and admission to practice in a U.S. jurisdiction (or eligibility to obtain admission).
