Apply in confidence →Leading Tax practice seeks an associate with 3–6 years of post‑JD experience to join one of its U.S. offices (Washington, D.C., Boston or New York). The role focuses on executive compensation, ERISA and employee benefits work for corporate clients across industries.
Day‑to‑day responsibilities include advising on tax and ERISA implications of compensation arrangements, drafting plan and agreement language, supporting equity and deferred compensation matters, and collaborating with lawyers across tax, corporate and benefits teams.
The team offers significant client exposure, cross‑office collaboration and a competitive total compensation package.
- 3–6 years post‑JD experience in executive compensation, ERISA and employee benefits matters
- J.D. and active bar admission in the U.S.; strong academic credentials
- Practical experience drafting plan documents, equity award agreements and related tax analysis
- Ability to manage client workstreams, collaborate across practices and work in a fast‑paced team
