Tax practice seeking an associate with 3–6 years of post‑JD experience to join offices in Washington, D.C., Boston or New York. The role focuses on executive compensation and employee benefits matters, including tax and ERISA counseling for corporate clients.

Day‑to‑day responsibilities include advising on incentive plans and deferred compensation, drafting plan documents and tax opinions, supporting compliance and reporting, and coordinating with broader corporate and tax teams on transactional and compensation-related work.

  • 3–6 years post‑JD experience (PQE)
  • Experience advising on executive compensation, ERISA and employee benefits
  • Strong federal tax background and comfort drafting plan documents and tax analyses
  • Ability to manage client workstreams, collaborate across practices, and communicate complex tax/ERISA concepts clearly
