A full-service Am Law 100 firm is seeking an attorney to join its Dallas office and handle a broad range of commercial disputes and financial services litigation matters.

The group represents local, national, and international clients — including Fortune 500 corporations, public agencies, and individuals — in state and federal litigation, appeals, and regulatory proceedings. Its financial services team regularly defends financial institutions and other clients in cases involving consumer finance statutes and general consumer protection laws.

The role involves managing cases from start to finish, conducting factual and legal research, drafting pleadings and other case documents, attending hearings across Texas, and communicating with clients and supervising attorneys. At least 2–7 years of civil litigation experience, preferably in financial services or business/commercial litigation
Licensed to practice in Texas
Familiarity with federal and state court practice and procedural rules
Experience drafting answers, motions, and discovery
Strong legal research, writing, and oral communication skills
Significant case management experience and ability to manage matters independently
Clear and effective drafting and negotiating skills
Ability to learn new substantive legal topics as needed
Hearing experience is a plus
