Top-tier law firm seeks a private investment funds attorney to join the corporate team in New York. The role focuses on fund formation and related sponsor- and investor-side work across private equity and investment management structures.

Successful candidates will handle fund formation transactions, sponsor-level matters (GP/management company structures) and secondary transactions involving LP and portfolio company interests. The team advises both sponsors and investors on fund structuring and transactional execution.

2–7 years of private investment fund formation experience
Experience representing both sponsors and investors on fund formation matters
Track record completing fund formation, sponsor-level and secondary transactions
