Fund Formation Attorney, Corporate — San Francisco

Growing corporate team seeks a fund-formation attorney with 2–7 years of private investment fund experience to join the San Francisco office. The role focuses on representing sponsors and investors on fund formation work across traditional private investment fund structures.

Successful candidates will have completed fund formation transactions as well as sponsor-level (GP/management company) matters and secondary transactions involving LP or portfolio-company interests. Candidates from national or international law firms and with strong academic credentials are preferred.

• 2–7 years of private investment fund formation experience in private practice
• Experience representing sponsors and investors on fund formations
• Experience with sponsor-level (general partner/management company) matters and secondary transactions
• Background in a corporate department of a national or international law firm preferred
• Strong academic record and law degree
