Fund Formation Attorney — Corporate — San Francisco

Well-regarded national firm is hiring a fund formation attorney for its San Francisco corporate practice. The role focuses on private investment fund work with responsibility for fund formation matters and related sponsor-side corporate structuring.

Successful candidates will work on formations for private equity, venture and other private funds, advise sponsors and investors, and handle sponsor-level transactions and secondary transactions involving LP or portfolio-company interests.

• 2–7 years of private investment fund formation experience
• Experience representing both sponsors and investors in private funds
• Track record with sponsor-level (GP/management company) matters and secondary transactions
• Prior experience in the corporate department of a national or international law firm and strong academic credentials
