A full-service AmLaw 100 firm is seeking an associate to join its General Liability Practice in Portland, Oregon. This is an opportunity to handle all phases of insurance defense litigation within a nationwide practice group of over 600 attorneys.

The role involves case management, motion practice, discovery, hearings, depositions, arbitrations, and trials. The group represents defendants in significant exposure matters, including property and personal injury claims for businesses and individuals, with a strong focus on catastrophic injury, wrongful death, and complex litigation.

2–7 years of experience in insurance defense litigation
Strong research and writing skills
Experience with case management, motion practice, discovery, hearings, depositions, arbitrations, and trials
Admission to the Oregon Bar required
Insurance defense experience preferred but not required; substantive litigation experience in any arena considered
