Apply in confidence →National law firm seeking a Government Contracts associate to join its Washington, D.C. office. The role focuses on counseling clients across the government contracts lifecycle, with a primary emphasis on compliance, risk assessments, supply chain matters, investigations, and mandatory and voluntary disclosures.
The associate will conduct legal research and analysis on federal procurement laws and regulations; draft memoranda, disclosures, and client-facing work product; assist with internal reviews and government-facing interactions; and contribute to matter development alongside partners and senior colleagues.
- 3–5 years of law firm experience in government contracts or closely related regulatory practice
- Experience advising on compliance programs, risk assessments, supply-chain issues, and conducting internal investigations and disclosures
- Comfortable with government-facing interactions and client counseling on complex procurement and contractual issues
- Excellent legal research, drafting, analytical, and communication skills
- Member of the D.C. Bar or eligible to waive in
