A leading US law firm is seeking an off-track Career Associate with 3–5 years of healthcare regulatory experience to join its FDA and Healthcare Regulatory practice in Boston. The role supports senior attorneys and partners serving innovative healthcare, health tech, and digital health clients, with a strong emphasis on regulatory and transactional matters.

The associate will help provide regulatory guidance across a broad spectrum of healthcare and privacy issues, including healthcare and artificial intelligence, telehealth, fraud and abuse (anti-kickback and self-referral laws), the corporate practice of medicine, Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement, scope-of-practice questions, and Sunshine Act reporting.

Day-to-day work includes drafting and compiling state filings and helping clients maintain state and federal authorities once secured by identifying and advising on compliance obligations for regulated entities.

Juris Doctor and admission to the State Bar of the desired office
3–5 years of legal experience handling healthcare regulatory matters at a law firm, regulatory agency, company, or similar entity
Experience reviewing and analyzing state statutes and regulations
General knowledge of HIPAA and FDA is helpful
Strong writing, communication, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
