Senior litigation role within a specialist healthcare team advising on clinical negligence, patient safety, consent to treatment, mental health and related healthcare law. The team acts for defendant-side clients across NHS and public healthcare matters and combines deep sector knowledge with practical litigation experience.

The role involves managing a mixed caseload of litigated and pre‑litigated clinical negligence claims, conducting investigations, instructing experts, complying with client protocols and delivering to financial and quality targets. There is scope to lead client-facing initiatives and contribute to business development and operational activities.

Qualified solicitor (or equivalent) with 5+ years’ PQE
Proven experience managing complex defendant clinical negligence claims
Knowledge of CPR and demonstrable investigative and evidence‑analysis skills
Experience working with NHS Resolution or similar public healthcare clients preferred
Strong communication, time management and stakeholder liaison skills; ability to supervise junior lawyers
