Senior litigation role within a specialist healthcare team advising on clinical negligence, patient safety, consent to treatment, mental health and related healthcare law. The team acts for defendant-side clients across NHS and public healthcare matters and combines deep sector knowledge with practical litigation experience.

The role involves managing a mixed caseload of litigated and pre‑litigated clinical negligence claims, conducting investigations, instructing experts, complying with client protocols and delivering to financial and quality targets. There is scope to lead client-facing initiatives and contribute to business development and operational activities.

  • Qualified solicitor (or equivalent) with 5+ years’ PQE
  • Proven experience managing complex defendant clinical negligence claims
  • Knowledge of CPR and demonstrable investigative and evidence‑analysis skills
  • Experience working with NHS Resolution or similar public healthcare clients preferred
  • Strong communication, time management and stakeholder liaison skills; ability to supervise junior lawyers
