The role advises healthcare clients on operational and regulatory matters, including provider and facility licensing, Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement, and compliance with federal and state healthcare laws.
Work will include counseling on Stark Law and anti-kickback issues, fraud, waste and abuse matters, regulatory risk assessments, and enforcement-related matters. The team is collaborative and experienced, offering substantive client work and opportunities for professional growth.
- 3-6 years' experience in healthcare regulatory and enforcement counseling at a law firm or comparable setting
- Substantive experience with Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement, facility licensing, and healthcare fraud, waste & abuse (Stark, AKS)
- Experience with healthcare compliance, regulatory analysis, and related transactional or enforcement matters preferred
- Strong drafting and writing skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage client work
- Licensed or able to become licensed to practice in Tennessee; candidates must reside in the Nashville area at time of hire
- Expected in-office presence at least three business days per week
