Senior compliance role embedded in a large, multidisciplinary German law firm’s Cologne office. You will act as the primary internal contact for compliance questions, supporting business units and ensuring regulatory screenings and documentation are completed to required standards.

Day-to-day responsibilities include conflict checks and risk assessments for new mandates, sanctions and watchlist screenings, maintenance of insider lists, and continuous improvement of internal compliance and professional-conduct processes. This is an internal-facing position (no external client advice).

Degree in law (Wirtschaftsjurist, Diplom‑Jurist or Volljurist)
Structured, independent and analytical working style; suitable for experienced professionals or returners (e.g. after parental leave)
High level of responsibility, strong communication skills and confident collaboration with multiple internal stakeholders
Experience with sanctions screenings, conflict-check procedures and regulatory documentation preferred
