A well-established national law firm is seeking an Income Partner to join its Litigation Department in its Denver office. This role is ideal for a seasoned commercial litigator with 12+ years of progressive experience who is ready to lead complex matters from inception through resolution, including trial and arbitration.

The incoming partner will handle a broad range of commercial disputes, including breach of contract, breach of warranty, mechanic's lien claims, bond claims, and business torts. They will be responsible for developing and executing litigation strategies in state and federal court, managing multi-party actions, and overseeing all phases of litigation—from pleadings and dispositive motions through discovery, depositions, mediation, and trial.

In addition to managing a robust caseload, the partner will supervise litigation teams, mentor associates and counsel, maintain direct client communication, and contribute to business development and client growth initiatives.

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) required
  • Active license to practice law in Colorado
  • 12+ years of progressive commercial litigation experience
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex litigation independently from inception through resolution
  • Strong deposition, motion practice, and courtroom experience
  • Second-chair trial or arbitration experience required; first-chair strongly preferred
  • Experience drafting pleadings, motions, briefs, and dispositive motions
  • Experience taking and defending depositions of parties, fact witnesses, corporate representatives, and experts
  • Ability to lead and supervise litigation teams and mentor junior attorneys
  • Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills
  • Judicial clerkship and law firm experience preferred

If the brief does not read like an exact match, it is usually still worth talking — the specification tends to follow the practice.
