Insurance Coverage Attorney — New York

An established, international insurance firm is seeking motivated litigation-focused attorneys to join its national and international insurance coverage practice in New York. The role is hybrid and sits within a collaborative team that handles both coverage opinions and coverage litigation matters for insurers.

The team is looking for candidates with a strong litigation background who can draft coverage opinions, pleadings and dispositive motions, manage discovery, and handle coverage analysis including bad-faith issues. The office provides structured mentoring, business development training and firm-wide support for associate career development.

Competitive compensation and benefits are offered, with an indicated attorney salary range of $135,000–$220,000 depending on experience; the position requires admission and good standing in New York.

• Minimum ~2 years of insurance coverage and litigation experience (coverage opinions, pleadings, motions, discovery).
• Experience analyzing coverage issues and bad-faith matters.
• Admitted and in good standing in New York (additional state admissions a plus).
• Strong litigation skills: drafting, discovery management; deposition and motion experience preferred.
