A globally ranked law firm is seeking motivated attorneys to join its national and international insurance coverage practice, based in its New York office within a collaborative, hybrid working culture. The firm is recognized for serving insurers and the London market, and maintains a substantial litigation and dispute resolution focus.

The role involves advising and litigating insurance coverage matters, including bad faith, coverage analysis, and the full range of coverage disputes. The incoming attorney will draft coverage opinions, pleadings, and dispositive motions, and conduct discovery in insurance coverage litigation. Exposure to depositions, court conferences, and arguing motions is beneficial.

Compensation is competitive, ranging from $135,000 to $220,000 annually depending on experience, practice group, location, and other job-related factors, with annual performance-based raises, discretionary bonus, and benefits. The position carries a 1920-hour requirement.

At least two years of relevant insurance coverage experience
Strong litigation background with coverage analysis and bad faith experience
Experience drafting coverage opinions, pleadings, and dispositive motions
Experience conducting discovery in insurance coverage litigation
Admission to practice in New York and in good standing
Additional state admissions a plus
Deposition, court conference, or motion argument experience helpful but not required
