Apply in confidence →Seeking an insurance defense attorney to join a growing, global insurance-focused practice. The role is based in the firm's New Jersey office and operates on a hybrid schedule supporting U.S. insurance litigation matters.
Ideal candidates will handle a full range of defense litigation tasks — developing strategy, managing discovery, drafting pleadings and motions, taking and defending depositions, and participating in mediations and trials. The team offers structured mentoring, business-development training and opportunities for secondments across the firm's global network.
- 3–6 years' insurance defense litigation experience, with exposure to premises liability, motor-vehicle negligence (including UM/UIM), negligent security, professional liability and wrongful-death matters
- Strong litigation skills: motions practice, discovery, depositions, mediations and trial support
- Excellent legal research, writing and client-communication abilities
- Admission and good standing in New York required; additional state admissions a plus; substantive familiarity with New Jersey court rules and procedures preferred
