A leading national law firm's state and local policy regulation practice group is seeking an insurance regulatory associate with 1–5 years of experience. The role may be based in Dallas (preferred), Houston, or Austin.

Primary responsibilities include conducting legal research, preparing legal memos and opinion letters, communicating with regulators, preparing contracts, analyzing insurance-related contracts and other agreements, attending hearings and meetings, reviewing due diligence documents, and preparing regulatory filings.

1–5 years of transferable experience within a law firm or insurance regulatory agency
Licensed to practice and in good standing in Texas
Minimum of 1 year of experience in insurance regulatory law
Superb attention to detail, organizational and multi-tasking skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent research skills
