An interim, full-time role supporting an industry body on structured finance, leveraged finance and alternative credit matters. The assignment is for six months on a hybrid basis (approximately three days in the office) and involves hands-on legal, analytical and project work.

Responsibilities include taking ownership of discrete projects, supporting committees and working parties, reviewing documentation, conducting regulatory research and assisting with consultation drafting. You will work closely with a sponsoring partner and have access to firm resources and know‑how while on assignment.

  • Qualified lawyer with banking/finance experience in private practice or in-house.
  • Strong familiarity with loan market practice and LMA‑style documentation.
  • Experience of regulatory engagement or non‑transactional project work preferred.
  • Ability to work quickly to tight deadlines, prioritise workloads and work both autonomously and collaboratively.
  • Right to work in the UK (visa sponsorship is not available).
