The position can be based in one of several Southern California offices (including San Diego, Los Angeles or Orange County). The associate will work on full-scope international trade matters, including regulatory counseling, agency proceedings, and transactional support.
This is a single mid-level opening for an associate with substantial international trade experience who is comfortable collaborating across practice groups and interacting with government regulators.
- 5 –7 years of international trade experience (law firm or relevant government agency experience preferred)
- Experience in several of: export controls (EAR/ITAR), CFIUS/foreign investment reviews, economic sanctions, customs law, AD/CVD, or international trade agreements
- Admitted to and in good standing with the California bar
- Strong research, analytical, and written/verbal communication skills; excellent academic credentials
