Top-tier investment funds team is seeking an attorney with 1–3 years' experience on fund formation matters. This is a professional (non-partnership) track role open to candidates for the New York, Chicago or Austin offices with a hybrid in-office requirement.

Day-to-day work includes drafting and negotiating fund organizational documents, investor side letters, and coordinating investor closings; experience with secondaries transactions is a plus. The role requires strong analytical and writing skills, attention to detail, sound business judgment, and the ability to work collaboratively and independently.

JD required
1–3 years of fund formation or investment management experience (law firm experience preferred)
Experience drafting/negotiating fund formation documents and investor side letters; coordinating investor closings
Secondaries transaction experience a plus
Strong legal research, writing, organizational skills and client-facing communication
Ability to work in a hybrid model, travel as needed, and manage competing deadlines
