Apply in confidence →Top-tier investment funds team is seeking an attorney with 1–3 years' experience on fund formation matters. This is a professional (non-partnership) track role open to candidates for the New York, Chicago or Austin offices with a hybrid in-office requirement.
Day-to-day work includes drafting and negotiating fund organizational documents, investor side letters, and coordinating investor closings; experience with secondaries transactions is a plus. The role requires strong analytical and writing skills, attention to detail, sound business judgment, and the ability to work collaboratively and independently.
- JD required
- 1–3 years of fund formation or investment management experience (law firm experience preferred)
- Experience drafting/negotiating fund formation documents and investor side letters; coordinating investor closings
- Secondaries transaction experience a plus
- Strong legal research, writing, organizational skills and client-facing communication
- Ability to work in a hybrid model, travel as needed, and manage competing deadlines
