A leading global law firm is hiring a junior associate to join its Structured Products Group in London, a market-leading practice serving most top-tier investment banks on a global basis. The role is part of a broader Global Markets and Global Loans group that also covers derivatives, debt capital markets, securitisation, blockchain capital markets and Shari'ah-compliant products, sitting within the firm's wider Finance division alongside financial regulatory, global loans, restructurings and funds teams.

You would work across all elements of a structured products offering or platform, from instruction through to closing and post-closing. Initial responsibilities would include producing first drafts of agreements, drafting and negotiating structured product documents, and driving a smooth path to transaction close, with scope for regular client secondments to leading investment banks.

You would manage your own projects and liaise closely with colleagues, clients, counterparties and other advisers, working with minimal supervision and taking the lead on client matters as part of a close-knit, highly regarded team where all members enjoy frequent client contact. This is a full-time, permanent, hybrid-working role based in London.

Post-qualification experience in international finance transactions, ideally structured products, debt capital markets or derivatives, gained at a reputable international law firm.
Strong organisational skills and experience in transaction management.
