Apply in confidence →Growing private wealth team seeking a junior to midlevel associate to support estate, trust and tax planning for high-net-worth families, family offices and closely held businesses. The role includes complex document drafting, estate and trust administration, transfer tax return work, legal and tax research, project management and direct client contact.
Position is open to placement in the firm's U.S. offices, with preference for attorneys able to work in Pittsburgh or Charlotte. The hiring team provides active mentoring and opportunities for increased responsibility and client-facing work.
- 2–5 years post-qualification experience in estate planning, trusts & estates, probate and related tax work
- Experience drafting wills, trust agreements, settlement and shareholder agreements; estate & trust administration and transfer tax return preparation
- J.D. from an accredited law school
- Admission to practice in Pennsylvania, North Carolina, or South Carolina (or eligible to waive into one of these bars); openness to licensure in Florida
- Strong written and oral communication skills and demonstrated ability to manage multiple matters and build client relationships
