Apply in confidence →We are seeking a Knowledge Management & Innovation Attorney to support an intellectual property Practice Service Center. This role can be based remotely or at any firm location in the United States and focuses on driving process improvement, technology adoption, and KM initiatives across the IP practice.
The attorney will act as the primary KM and innovation liaison to the IP service center, partnering with KM, IT and practice teams to prototype and implement legal technology (including AI and document automation), lead pilots, and promote change management and adoption.
Typical responsibilities include technology assessment and prototyping, project planning and reporting, developing training and rollouts, and collecting user feedback to refine KM solutions that improve client service and operational efficiency.
- J.D. and a bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) required.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience as a practicing attorney or in knowledge management/innovation within professional services.
- Demonstrated experience with legal technology (AI, document automation), project management, and business planning.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, drive organizational change, and deliver training to non-technical stakeholders.
