Knowledge Strategy Lawyer — Litigation — Washington, D.C.

Seeking a Knowledge Strategy Lawyer to join a major litigation practice in Washington, D.C. (hybrid). This role partners with practice leadership and business-services teams to capture, curate, and maintain core know‑how, precedent collections, and training materials that improve matter delivery and attorney efficiency.

The position leads knowledge strategy and practice innovation initiatives for the litigation group, evaluating and piloting legal technology and AI tools, translating attorney workflows into scalable solutions, and driving adoption across the practice. The role balances hands‑on content creation (practice notes, checklists, precedents) with technology enablement and cross‑team collaboration.

Responsibilities include conducting matter debriefs, maintaining KM repositories, supporting business development materials and training, and acting as a subject‑matter resource on legal technology and generative AI in the litigation context.

• J.D. and active bar membership in good standing
• Approximately 4 years' post‑qualification experience practicing in litigation at a large law firm or equivalent experience
• Demonstrated experience with knowledge management, precedents, drafting practice materials, and training
• Familiarity with legal technology and willingness to develop expertise in document automation, eDiscovery, and generative AI
• Excellent written and verbal communication, project management, and stakeholder engagement skills
