Apply in confidence →Growing labor & employment team in Dallas is seeking a traditional labor associate to work on management-side labor matters. The role focuses on representation of employers before administrative agencies and in labor relations, with opportunities to handle collective bargaining, grievances and arbitrations, unfair labor practice proceedings, and related counseling and training.
Typical assignments include representing management in NLRB matters and elections, advising on union organizing and corporate campaigns, negotiating and counseling on collective bargaining issues, handling grievance/arbitration proceedings, and assisting clients during work stoppages. The position is primarily traditional labor law work but may include other employment matters as needed.
The office offers a competitive benefits package and a hybrid working arrangement. Candidates should expect occasional business travel.
- JD from an ABA-accredited law school
- Minimum 3 years' experience in traditional labor law / management-side labor relations
- Admission to the Texas bar
- Experience with NLRB practice, union elections, collective bargaining, grievance/arbitration procedures, and related counseling
- Strong written and oral communication, attention to detail, and project-management skills
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
