An Am Law 100 full-service firm is seeking an associate attorney to join its Labor & Employment Practice in the Denver office. This is an excellent opportunity for attorneys who are proactive and passionate about assuming a high-level role providing legal service within a sophisticated practice and who are seeking to assume a significant role in all aspects of labor and employment law.

The firm's Labor & Employment Practice represents clients from coast to coast in all phases and types of employment litigation, counseling, and training. The team provides clients with sound counsel in dozens of jurisdictions, with size and geographic coverage allowing consistent representation throughout the nation.

The ideal candidate will have at least two to seven years of employment litigation experience, preferably on the management side, handling claims of discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, and wage & hour violations. Advice and counseling experience is preferred. This role requires extensive contact with clients, governmental agencies, and opposing counsel.

Admitted to practice in Colorado
2–7 years of employment litigation experience, preferably management-side
Experience with discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, and wage & hour claims
Advice and counseling experience preferred
Strong writing and analytical skills
Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
Self-starter with ability to work independently and as part of a team
Comfortable drafting and responding to discovery and initial pleadings, drafting and arguing motions, and taking and defending depositions
