Labor & Employment Attorney — Kansas City

A growing Labor & Employment team in Kansas City seeks an experienced employment attorney to handle litigation, counseling and client-facing matters. The role involves managing disputes from initial pleadings through motion practice and depositions, plus providing employment counseling and training.

This is a hands-on opportunity for a proactive attorney to join a national, full-service practice and work closely with clients, government agencies and opposing counsel. Partnership opportunities may be considered for candidates with extensive relevant experience.

• Admitted to practice in Missouri
• 2–15 years of employment law experience
• Prior employment litigation experience required; management-side experience preferred
• Comfortable drafting/responding to discovery and pleadings, briefing and arguing motions, and taking/defending depositions
• Strong legal writing, analytical skills, ability to manage multiple matters, self-starter and team player
