Seeking a labor and employment attorney to join a national, management-side practice based in Grand Rapids. The role will handle employment litigation and counseling as well as traditional labor matters, including arbitrations, contract administration and NLRB-related work.

Ideal candidates have 2–6 years of relevant experience and will be expected to draft briefs and memos, advise clients on employment-law issues, and participate in union-avoidance and unfair labor practice defense when needed. The team operates nationally, is collaborative, and provides opportunities to work on a variety of management-side matters.

Admission to the Michigan bar is required.

2–6 years post-qualification experience in employment litigation, counseling and/or traditional labor practice
Experience with labor arbitrations, contract administration and NLRB matters (including union avoidance, union campaigns, and ULP defense) preferred
Strong writing, research and analytical skills; excellent academic record
Admission to and good standing with the Michigan bar
