An established public law practice is seeking a lawyer to join its land use and planning team, focused on urban planning and public law matters. The role involves working on both advisory and contentious workstreams across the public sector.

The successful candidate will advise on planning instruments, urban development and land management, as well as strategic counsel in public-private collaboration, regulatory and environmental matters. The position is based in Barcelona.

Knowledge and experience in urban planning law: drafting planning instruments, urban land management, permitting, urban legality restoration and sanctioning proceedings, expropriation, infrastructure, concessions and public domain management
Experience in transactional urbanism: strategic advice for land sector development and due diligence processes
Advising in administrative and contentious-administrative proceedings across core public law areas (public procurement/PPP, regulatory, environmental, etc.)
Specialisation or knowledge in additional areas such as energy, water, public domain, mining or telecommunications is valued
High level of English
