Leading international law firm is recruiting a lateral partner to strengthen its Brussels antitrust & competition team. This is a partner-facing role focused on high-value EU and cross-border competition work, including investigations, cartel defense, merger control and complex commercial disputes.

The successful candidate will join a well-resourced team and work on high-profile matters across jurisdictions, advising corporate clients and coordinating with other practice groups. The firm values strong technical skills, commercial judgement and a collaborative approach to business development.

This role is a senior leadership hire: the firm is seeking a heavy-hitting rainmaker who will both lead matters and bring new client relationships to the practice.

Proven partner-level experience in EU/Belgian competition law and cartel/merger control matters
Demonstrable track record of originating and leading significant client engagements
Strong commercial acumen, leadership and team management skills
Excellent written and oral advocacy in English; additional EU language skills an advantage
Portable book of business of 1m (USD)
