Lateral Partner, Capital Markets (Mining) – Toronto

Leading Canadian corporate practice seeks a partner to expand its capital markets capability with a focus on mining-sector transactions. The role involves originating and leading complex equity and debt offerings, advising issuers and underwriters, and supervising deal teams.

Ideal candidates will join an established team and help drive business development while mentoring junior lawyers. This is a front-line, revenue-generating role with significant client-facing responsibility.

• Portable book of business of $2M+ (USD)
• Proven track record advising on capital markets transactions, preferably with mining-sector experience
• Demonstrated ability to originate mandates and manage complex deals from pitch to close
• Experience leading and mentoring junior lawyers and working collaboratively across practices
