Lateral Partner, Intellectual Property (Life Sciences) — Dallas

High-performing life sciences IP partner role in the Dallas office of a national law firm. The role combines patent and IP counseling with transactional work for pharmaceutical, biotech and medical-device clients, and offers leadership of client relationships and matter teams.

The partner will work closely with colleagues across offices on cross-border and multi-disciplinary matters, help grow the life sciences practice, and advise on patent strategy, licensing, collaborations and commercialization issues.

• Portable book of business of $2M+ (USD)
• Significant partner-level experience advising life sciences clients on patents, IP strategy and transactional matters
• Strong business-development record and ability to originate and sustain client relationships
• Active admission to practice in the relevant U.S. jurisdiction; patent bar registration is a plus
