Opportunity for an experienced partner to join a well-established regional firm with a focus on private equity M&A, leveraged/syndicated finance, federal income tax and IP transactional/litigation matters. The firm is hiring opportunistically and is flexible on partner structure (counsel, income member, equity member) depending on book and fit.

Priority growth areas include sponsor-backed M&A (platforms, bolt‑ons, rollovers), acquisition and sponsor lending, fund and securities work, transactional antitrust and government/regulatory matters. The Charlotte office is the core market; attorneys in Charleston and Atlanta are considered and remote partners are possible on a case‑by‑case basis.

Portable book of business of $2M+ (USD)
Established track record in private equity M&A, leveraged finance or related transactional practices
Experience handling sponsor-side deals, fund or securities work, or federal tax matters preferred
Flexible on partner structure and pathway to equity depending on book and firm fit
