Lateral Partner, Private Equity & M&A — New York

Leading international law firm seeks an experienced private equity partner to join and help build a US private equity growth practice. The role offers significant autonomy to develop and lead your own client relationships within an existing, small-scale PE platform.

The successful candidate will work across buyouts, growth capital and related fund/formation matters, collaborating with established cross-border teams. This is a visible position with opportunity to shape strategy, hire and mentor junior lawyers, and originate new business.

• Portable book of business of $2M+ (USD)
• Established partner-level private equity and M&A practice
• Proven ability to originate and develop client relationships and grow a practice
• Experience working on cross-border private equity matters and collaborating with multi-jurisdictional teams
