Lateral Partner — Tax & Litigation, Charleston

Seeking a lateral partner to build and lead a tax-focused litigation practice in the Charleston office of a national law firm. The role combines high-value courtroom and dispute-resolution work with active client counselling on tax controversies.

The successful candidate will manage litigation matters, mentor associates, and play a central role in business development for the practice. This is an opportunity to shape a growing practice group within a firm with national reach.

• Portable book of business of $2M+ (USD)
• Extensive experience handling tax controversies and related litigation
• Proven trial and appellate experience and strong oral advocacy skills
• Demonstrated business development success and ability to grow client relationships
• Bar admission in the relevant jurisdiction and capability to supervise and develop teams
