Lateral Partner  Tax & Litigation  Washington, D.C.

Leading national law firm is seeking a lateral partner to join its Washington, D.C. tax litigation practice. The role will focus on courtroom and appellate work, handling significant federal and state tax disputes for corporate and individual clients.

The ideal candidate will lead matters, develop and expand client relationships, and work collaboratively with cross-practice teams on complex tax controversy matters. This is a rainmaking role with leadership and business-development responsibilities.

• Portable book of business of $2M+ (USD)
• Substantial experience in tax controversy and litigation, including trial and appellate exposure
• Active bar admission in the relevant jurisdiction or ability to transfer
• Proven track record of client origination and business development
