A well-regarded defendant insurance legal team is seeking a Lawyer or Associate to join its statutory insurance workers' compensation practice in Newcastle. This is a genuine growth role offering clear progression within a supportive, nurturing environment.

The workers' compensation section is a defendant insurance team of approximately 70 people spanning two offices. You will work on personal injury claims for employers and insurers, with a strong emphasis on clear, precise legal writing and client service.

Minimum of one year post-admission experience
Experience in the personal injury space, specifically workers' compensation for employers or insurers
Defendant-side experience ideal
Clear, concise legal writing skills

Initiative and the ability to organise and prioritise effectively
