Legal Consultant (Interim) — Derivatives

Apply in confidence →Short-term interim roles for experienced derivatives lawyers, primarily based in the UAE (Abu Dhabi or Dubai). Assignments are typically full-time for around six months with opportunities for flexible working arrangements.
The work covers a broad range of complex OTC and structured products across multiple asset classes, advising banks, asset managers and other financial institutions on documentation, negotiation and regulatory issues. Roles will involve close collaboration with front-office, risk and product teams.
- Common law qualification (admitted lawyer)
- Approximately 6 years' PQE with demonstrable derivatives experience
- Strong drafting and negotiation skills (ISDA, CSA and related documentation)
- Knowledge of derivatives regulation and relevant UAE/ADGM/DIFC frameworks; experience across interest rate, credit, equity, commodity and structured products advantageous
- Experience advising banks or buy-side institutions preferred; Arabic language skills desirable but not essential
