Join a sector-focused international law firm’s London General Counsel team as a permanent Legal Counsel. The GC team provides legal support across the firm’s global business functions and fee-earners on a wide range of internal legal, compliance and governance matters.

The role covers advisory and drafting work across firm-wide precedents and engagement terms, data privacy implementation and ongoing obligations, company secretarial and corporate governance for UK and overseas entities, sanctions screening input, and support on firmwide projects. You will also assist HR, finance and other business functions with contractual and regulatory issues and help respond to regulatory requests, DSARs and internal complaints.

Qualified solicitor with at least 3 years’ post‑qualification experience.
Experience in one or more of: commercial contracts, data privacy, company secretarial/corporate governance, sanctions or regulatory investigations; willingness to broaden into other areas.
Strong drafting skills, commercial judgment and attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple priorities, work to tight deadlines and build effective relationships across business functions.
Comfortable working in an international, culturally diverse environment; strong communication skills.
