Senior lawyer role within a market-facing insurance and reinsurance team, advising on complex financial lines and professional indemnity coverage issues across the APAC region. Work will cover D&O, PI, crime/BBB, W&I, POSI, IMI and cyber policies, subrogated recoveries, and cross‑jurisdictional disputes.

The role is client-facing and business-development oriented: you will manage matters autonomously, lead and monitor litigation and arbitrations, support incident-response work where needed, and build relationships with insurers, reinsurers and brokers across APAC and London markets. Regular international travel is expected.

Responsibilities also include mentoring and training junior lawyers, delivering internal and external seminars, and contributing thought leadership for regional and global audiences.

Minimum 10 years' law firm experience (or equivalent experience handling complex insurance/reinsurance matters)
Qualified in a common law jurisdiction (England & Wales or Australia preferred); Singapore admission desirable
Deep experience advising on financial lines / professional indemnity coverage and subrogation
Experience with international or cross‑jurisdictional disputes and arbitration preferred
Practical experience or exposure to cyber incident response desirable
Strong client relationship, business development and presentation skills
Proven ability to mentor and develop junior lawyers; able to travel internationally
