Litigation Associate — Maritime, Transportation & Energy, New York

Experienced litigation associate wanted for a New York litigation team handling complex insurance and commercial disputes, including coverage, defense, and international commercial matters in the marine, transportation and energy sectors. The team litigates and arbitrates high-value matters in US state and federal courts and provides trial and appellate support.

Typical responsibilities include drafting pleadings and briefs, conducting legal research, preparing court and client correspondence, supporting depositions/hearings/mediations, and assisting with trial and appeals work. • Admission to practice in New York
• 4–6+ years' litigation experience
• Experience on insurance coverage and related defense matters
• Strong legal research, drafting and analytical skills
• Excellent organisation, time-management and ability to handle multiple time-sensitive matters
